Time Bird Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") establish the rules for using Time Bird (referred to as "the Bot," "we," or "us"), a Discord bot administered by the operators of the Timeworks Studios Discord server. Time Bird is built on the open-source NadekoBot framework with custom server-specific configurations and functions exclusively within this community.

By invoking the Bot's commands or participating in the server while the Bot is active, you consent to comply with these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please refrain from using the Bot.

1. Service Description

Time Bird delivers a suite of community management features including administrative moderation tools, member progression through experience and leveling, an in-server virtual economy, interactive games, automated welcome systems, and additional engagement tools designed to enhance the Timeworks Studios community experience. This is a volunteer-operated, cost-free service offered for community enjoyment.

2. User Requirements

You must be of legal age according to Discord's policies and fully comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Additionally, your use of the Bot is bound by the Timeworks Studios server's community rules and policies.

3. Virtual Rewards & Progression

• Virtual currency, experience points, levels, and all associated rewards have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be purchased with real money, sold for real money, or exchanged for cash. Members may transfer currency to other users through available bot commands.

• Server administrators may modify, redistribute, or completely reset any virtual balances, progression, or rewards at their discretion, whether for rule enforcement, exploit prevention, maintenance, or special server events.

• Any attempt to artificially inflate rewards through bug exploitation, automation scripts, self-bots, or other circumvention methods is strictly prohibited and subject to account resets, reward removal, and potential server disciplinary action.

4. Proper Use Requirements

You agree to refrain from:

• Utilizing the Bot as a vehicle for harassment, spam, or mistreatment of other server members

• Attempting to crash, overwhelm, or impair the Bot's performance or stability

• Making unauthorized attempts to access the Bot's systems, hosting environment, or stored information

• Engaging with the Bot in violation of Discord's policies, local laws, the server's regulations, or these Terms

5. Moderation & Enforcement

The Bot is an enforcement tool operated by the server's moderation team to uphold community standards through warnings, suspensions, removals, and bans. The staff team exercises independent judgment in all moderation decisions. If you question any enforcement action, the appropriate channel is to appeal directly to the server's moderation team.

How your information is collected and used is detailed in the accompanying Privacy Policy, which is incorporated as part of these Terms.

7. Service Reliability & Updates

Time Bird is maintained and operated on a reasonable-effort basis. We reserve the right to alter, pause, or discontinue the Bot or specific features without advance notification. Bot functionality, commands, visual customizations, and reward systems are subject to change, particularly during community events or updates.

8. Access Restrictions

We reserve the right to limit or remove your access to the Bot and its features at any time due to violation of these Terms or server guidelines. You may cease using the Bot at any time and may request your stored data be removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability Limitations

The Bot is offered in its current form without guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither the Bot operators nor the server administrators accept responsibility for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses you may experience through use or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to loss of virtual currency, progression, or rewards.

10. Policy Updates

These Terms may be revised periodically. The date shown at the top indicates the most recent update. Your continued use of the Bot after revisions take effect signals your acceptance of the updated Terms.
