To elaborate, this old and consistent scam starts off with a user saying they reported your account to Steam, for any reason. They then tell you to contact an impersonator account on Discord to avoid a ban on Steam, and eventually your Steam account gets stolen. Not sure what exactly the method is on this part. They more than likely did not even report you in the first place.
Always think twice before talking about such to a stranger. Don't trust any messages about it that do not come from official communication channels.
Report any suspicious DMs to @Nótt, or any online staff member. Be sure to provide their user ID and screenshot evidence.
